You will have noticed that the blogging has slowed down. The blog finally caught up with where I was in real time with tatting the yoke.
Some weeks I don't get hardly any tatting done, but I made good progress this past weekend. Only 14 motifs to go!

Looking good so far.
ReplyDeleteOh, my, that's stunning, Martha.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's amazing, Martha!!
ReplyDeleteThat's great progress! Just think... only 14 to go!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a LOT of tatting! I'd still be figuring out where to connect what on that beautiful doily. And here you are tackling this very amazing yoke. One sees these in the older books and thinks they are not really possible, and here it is. So neat to see how it is constructed, although I can't imagine how you keep it 'under control' when working on it!
ReplyDeleteYou're getting close!

I DO hope to see that in September in Toccoa....
ReplyDeleteIt's looking better and better as you get more of it tatted. I can hardly wait to see the finished yoke.

As Shirley Temple would say, "oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!" That is totally awesome!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt seems like I have "spurts" of tatting too. I get lots and lots done and then nothing for awhile, and then slowly get back to work and either get tons more done of fall off track again.
Astounding! Wow.
ReplyDeleteI have made this collar years ago. I use to have it on a uniform dress I use to wear to work in my nursing days. I have since taken the collar off an have not gotten anything to to put the collar on. I made mine in off white. It must have been 25 years ago. I could drag it out and take a picture of it and start thinking again to put it on somerhing. What are you going to do with it.
