Some folks have reported having trouble understanding the directions for my crocheted polar bear from 2008. I've gone back to the original post and added some text and pictures for working the legs. Hope this helps!

that's a cute crocheted polar bear!
ReplyDeleteThis polar bear is so adorable it makes me want to pick up crochet hooks that haven't been used (other than for weaving in knitting tail ends) since the 1970s!
ReplyDeleteAny chance a crafty gal who had foresworn amigurumi might be able to tackle this?
Isdihara, it depends on why you had previously forsworn amigurumi. Except for the ears, I think it's all single crochet, with increases and decreases for shaping. And then sewing all the pieces together, which is my least favorite part.
ReplyDeleteHe looks lovely and cute. wish I could crochet,
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to receiving my copy of your book, I have seen so many patterns from it my shuttles are itching to play.
